In person -  Board of Elections and Registration, 41 Fairground Road, Lexington GA 30648 

You must be a citizen of the United States, a legal resident of Georgia and the county in which you wish to vote, and at least 18 years of age by election day.

MONTHLY MEETINGS

2nd Tuesday of the Month  @ 7:30pm

As we will be having more scheduled speakers attending our meetings, we will continue to hold the monthly meetings at the County Library located at 858 Athens Road, Lexington, until further notice. Meet and greet will begin at 7:00pm for guest speakers with the meeting beginning promptly at 7:30pm.

May 10 we will host our local candidates for the BOC and BOE. 

On April 25, Oconee Republican Party will host Governor candidate David Perdue and Ag. Commissioner candidate Tyler Harper. Registration for the meeting is:

So, please join us for our monthly meetings and get to know your neighbors and members of our community, we have more in common than not. If you love America, our flag and the Constitution and have conservative values, the Republican party is the correct choice to ensure our freedoms for generations to come. Bring a guest (or guests) to these meetings. We encourage you to come out and meet those who are running for office in our District and State. There will be a question and answer period at the meetings.

GENERAL PRIMARY APPLICATIONS

The Board of Elections will accept absentee applications for the May 24, 2022 General Primary beginning ceive a  ballot by mail. Requests must be on the state approved form, which you can find through the link below or call our office at 706-743-8954 and we will send you the form.  Simply print form, complete and sign.  You can drop it off at the Elections

APRIL 25, 2022---LAST DAY TO REGISTER TO VOTE OR UPDATE YOUR CURRENT REGISTRATION FOR THE GENERAL PRIMARY

APRIL 25, 2022---LOGIC & ACCURACY TESTING BEGINS AT 9:00 A.M. ON VOTING EQUIPMENT AT BOARD OF ELECTIONS OFFICE

MAY 2, 2022---ADVANCE VOTING BEGINS

MAY 7, 2022---SATURDAY VOTING

MAY 13, 2022---LAST DAY TO ACCEPT APPLICATION TO HAVE AN ABSENTEE BALLOT MAILED TO VOTER

MAY 14, 2022---SATURDAY VOTING

MAY 20, 2022---ADVANCE VOTING ENDS

MAY 24, 2022---GENERAL PRIMARY ELECTION---POLLS OPEN FROM 7:00 A.M. UNTIL 7:00 P.M. AT YOUR ASSIGNED POLLING PRECINCT

 

ALL ADVANCE VOTING WILL TAKE PLACE FROM 8:00 A.M. UNTIL 5:00 P.M. AT THE BOARD OF ELECTIONS & REGISTRATION OFFICE LOCATED AT 41 FAIRGROUND ROAD IN LEXINGTON NEXT TO THE OGLETHORPE COUNTY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL.

or call the Board of Elections office at 706-743-8954 and they will send you the form. Print the form, complete and sign. You can drop it off at the Elections office at 41 Fairground Road, Lexington, mail the form via USPS or scan and email to:

Mail in ballot requests must be at the Board of Elections office by May 13, not postmarked on that date.
